Mr. Briesmaster is the Director of the 309th Maintenance Support Group in the Ogden Air Logistics Complex (OO-ALC) at Hill Air Force Base, Utah. The 309th Maintenance Support Group supports OO-ALC production, System Program Offices, Supply Chain Managers and other worldwide customers by providing world class industrial plant equipment and real property maintenance, tool control, OO-ALC MILCON and space utilization, calibration of production support equipment and the physical science laboratory production support services to include non-destructive inspection (NDI) training and process development, First Article Test, conformance and quality verification, chemical and material analyses, and failure analyses. Also, the Group provides a wide range of customer on-system NDI, de-paint and paint services.
In July 1999, he became the Commander, 795th Civil Engineer Squadron, Edwards AFB, CA. He attended Air War College in-residence program and is a 2003 graduate. In July 2003, he took command of the 22nd Civil Engineer Squadron, McConnell AFB, KS. In April 2005, then Colonel Briesmaster deployed in support of OPERATION IRAQI FREEDOM as the Facilities and Transportation Sector Lead for the Project and Contracting Office, Baghdad, Iraq. From September 2005 to January 2008, he commanded the 75th Civil Engineer Group, Hill AFB, UT. In January 2008 to September 2008, he moved up as the interim 75th Air Base Wing, Vice Commander. From January 2009 to February 2022 he was the civilian Director, 75th Civil Engineer Group, Hill AFB, UT. In March 2022 he became the Director, 309th Maintenance Support Group, Hill AFB
