Profile
Dan Gonzales is Vice President of Business Development, of StandardAero’s Military, Helicopter, and Energy Sector. In this role, he is responsible for coordinating Air Force customer relations, civic and congressional outreach, growth strategy development, and capture of competitive solicitations.
He joined StandardAero in 1999 and has held positions in Engineering Services, Government Relations, and Business Development. Before joining StandardAero, he worked at Kelly AFB for 12 years as an Engineering Section Chief and Branch Chief in the Engine Propulsion Division.
In 2021, Gonzales became the Alamo Academies Chairman of the Board and also sits on the San Antonio Chamber of Commerce Board of Directors. In 2022, he became an Executive Board member of the Dee Howard Foundation, serving as the Secretary. In 2015, Gonzales served as the Chairman of the San Antonio Chamber of Commerce Aerospace Committee. He is also a member of the University of Texas at San Antonio Engineering Advisory Council and is a Board member of the Greater: SATX.
Gonzales holds a degree in Mechanical Engineering and a Master's Degree in Management of Technology, from the University of Texas at San Antonio.
