Description

There are numerous vulnerabilities in the supply chain that require advanced strategies and technologies. Driven by new capabilities, distributed logistics will make force projection and sustainment more resilient and adaptive by disrupting or complicating adversarial attacks and providing more options for force commanders.  The DoD needs to think of this pursuit as a shared responsibility where industry shares in the heavy lifting of leveraging commercially mature technologies to accelerate DoD logistics and sustainment modernization efforts left of Acquisition Milestone B.
