Mr. Huck is a Program Manager at Systems Planning and Analysis, Inc (SPA) headquartered in Alexandria, VA. In his role, he has supported Next Generation Logistics Ship (NGLS) analysis for the last three years to include generating top-level requirements for the NGLS Requirements Evaluation Team and the lead analysis provider for the NGLS Analysis of Alternatives. Additionally, Mike has supported the Future Afloat Logistics Force Initial Capability Document, the Future Surface Combatant Force Analysis of Alternatives, and the Analytic Baseline for the Australian Defence Force.
Prior to joining SPA, Mr. Huck served 29 years in the Navy and commanded both USS HALYBURTON (FFG 40) and USS SAN JACINTO (CG 56). More recently, he was Chief of Staff and Associate Director for Warfighting for the Assessment Division (N81) in the Office of the Chief of Naval Operations.
Mr. Huck received a Bachelor of Science in Oceanography from the U.S. Naval Academy, a Master of Science in Oceanography from the Naval Postgraduate School, and a Master of Art in National Security and Strategic Studies from the Naval War College.
