Safford Regional Airport is located in the Desert Southwest of Arizona, approximately 150 miles east of Phoenix. The airport is rapidly expanding, with a large focus on industrial users. The airport is currently home to medevac, a Part 135 operator focused on aerial wildfire fighting, a full-service paint and interior shop, and airline service. The airport is offering numerous incentives to aviation companies including low ground lease rates, low storage fees, and options for hangars constructed by the airport to the specifications of the tenant and leased to the tenant by the airport.
