Danielle Lesch is Director of CFM56 Program Management within Commercial Engines and Services at GE Aerospace. In this role, she serves as chair of the CFM56 Safety Product Management Team, Product Control Board, and Commercial Review Board. She is also responsible for managing the overall partner relationship in the CFM56 joint venture between GE Aerospace and Safran Aircraft Engines. Her passion for aviation, aerospace, engineering, and diversity bought her to GE Aerospace and has kept her here for 18 years.
Danielle joined GE Aerospace in 2006 and has held roles of increasing responsibility in controls systems engineering, product management, marketing, sales, customer support, and program management across the company’s commercial and defense businesses. In the office, she is a proud member of the Women’s Network, co-chair of the Working Parents team, and serves as an ally for the People with Disabilities Network and Veterans Network. She also is a lead recruiter for GE Aerospace recruiting for engineering internships at her alma mater of WVU.
She is a first-generation college graduate originally from West Virginia. She holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Aerospace Engineering and Mechanical Engineering from West Virginia University and a Master of Business with a concentration in International Business from Xavier University.
Outside of the office, Danielle is involved in different organizations including serving as the community service chair for the American Heritage Girls troop OH2513, and is a member of The Wings Club. Her and her family support the Cincinnati March of Dimes, Community Service Fund, Hands Against Hunger, and Matthew 25 Ministries.
