Profile
Daniel had a lifelong fascination in how airplanes flew and what was needed to get them to fly. He first started with United in the Machine shop, at IAH and was there for 12 years. Without a license, he couldn't get too in depth on maintaining or working on the aircraft. Upon hearing about the Calibrate program, and that it would give him an opportunity to work and learn at the same while getting his Airframe and Powerplant certificate, Daniel jumped at the chance. This program would give him an opportunity to work and learn on all the different areas of the aircraft, help acquire his Airframe and Powerplant certificate and increase his job security. Daniel's current focus areas when working with his AQDST are Rigging Cables; Ops Checks; Tire and Brake changes; servicing Hydraulics and troubleshooting or changing out components when required.Sessions
