Air China Limited (Air China) and Lufthansa German Airlines (Lufthansa) have established Aircraft Maintenance & Engineering Corporation, Beijing by restructuring their shareholdings in Aircraft Maintenance & Engineering Corporation (Ameco). New Ameco is still a joint venture between Air China and Lufthansa, with 75% shareholding by Air China and 25% shareholding by Lufthansa. Headquartered in Beijing, New Ameco consists of a Beijing Base and nine branches dotted in Chengdu, Chongqing, Hangzhou, Tianjin, Hohhot, Shanghai, Guiyang, Wuhan and Guangzhou, Wen Zhou. New Ameco holds wide range of business scope covering line maintenance, aircraft overhaul and engine overhaul, component overhaul, landing gear overhaul, business jet services.
