A 50/50 joint company between GE and Safran Aircraft Engines, CFM International (CFM) develops, produces and sells the new advanced-technology LEAP engine and the world’s best-selling CFM56 engine. Since the first engine was delivered in 1982, CFM has received orders for more than 50,000 CFM56 and LEAP engines from some 600+ operators worldwide, of which more than 40,000 engines have been delivered.
