Sharon Green was appointed CEO of Unical Aviation Inc. in December 2021.
She has more than 35 years of professional experience including leadership roles
in operations, finance, and management. She has spent more than 30 years
working in the aviation industry.
Sharon was recruited to lead the transformation of Unical after Platinum Equity
acquired the business from the company’s founders in August 2021.
With more than 90 million parts and over 1 million unique airframe and engine
part numbers in stock, Unical is one of the largest aftermarkets parts suppliers for
the global aerospace industry.
Prior to Unical, Sharon served as CEO of the aviation spare parts division of GE
Capital Aviation Services (GECAS), one of the world’s largest distributors of
airframe and engine components. Ms. Green joined GE in 2007, having
previously served as Chief Financial Officer for The Memphis Group, which was
acquired by GECAS in 2006. Sharon began her career in public accounting with
BDO Seidman.
Sharon earned a master’s degree in business administration from Christian
Brothers University and a bachelor’s degree in accountancy from the University of
Mississippi
