Richard Stoddart joined Satair, an Airbus Services company, as Chief Executive Officer and Airbus Head of Material Services on 1st October 2023.
Previously, Richard was based in Toulouse as Airbus Head of Company Transformation,
responsible for driving the company's vision of a sustainable future. Prior to that, he was Head of Airbus’ A380 Customer Programme. He also served as Head of Fleet Efficiency in Customer Services, in this role he oversaw Operational Reliability and Availability of Airbus Fleets, Global Major Repair teams and the AOG Customer Service Center. During his years in France he managed teams in Singapore, Dubai, China, India and the USA.
From 1994 until 2013 he held positions across the UK with Airbus Defence and Space.
Richard Stoddart is British, with a BEng (Hons) in Engineering Design and Advanced Materials from the University of Portsmouth. Married with two grown up children, he is now based in
Copenhagen.
