Profile
Farah was born in Houston, TX and has lived in five different countries across three continents. She completed her undergraduate degree at Worcester Polytechnic Institute (WPI) and received her MBA from Bentley College.
Farah has spent over 20 years at GE. She began her career in Lynn, MA and held roles of increasing responsibility in shop operations. In 2008, Farah moved to Ohio to lead Evendale Production Assembly, where she led manufacturing efforts for six engine programs. She subsequently was a Plant Leader in Lynn for Structural Components and then moved to Greenville, SC where she led the Turbine Airfoils site.
In 2014, Farah joined GE Oil and Gas/BHGE as the Operational Excellence Leader.
During her time there, her role grew to include Brilliant Factory, and Advanced
Manufacturing Engineering. While at BHGE, she focused on implementing the Oil and Gas Operating Standard (OGOS) and leading lean transformation across 100+ manufacturing and MRO facilities.
In 2018, Farah became the General Manager for the Turbine Airfoils value stream. In this role, she had oversight for five manufacturing sites, two technology development centers and a multi-site joint venture. She also served on the Board of Directors for PG Technologies.
In 2022, Farah left GE and joined Target Corporation as a Group Vice President of Field Operations. She returned to GE Aerospace in early 2023, as Vice President, Assembly, Test, Maintenance, Repair and Overhaul.
Farah is married to Victor, and they have a blended family with three daughters, Milan (18), Mya (7), and Eliana (2). Outside of work, Farah enjoys traveling, reading, and spending time with her family.
