Jim Lickteig was named as the Vice President of Spirit’s Aftermarket organization in August 2021.

Prior to this role he served as the Senior Director of Operations in Aftermarket, for Spirit’s Global Customer Support and Services organization.

Lickteig has held various leadership roles at Spirit, including Director, 737 Thrust Reverser Composite Fabrication and Director of Boeing / OEM Spares as well as Senior Manager of Maintenance, Repair and Overhaul, Customer Service, Proposals and Sales and Marketing

Lickteig has been with Spirit since 2005, when the company was formed following the divestiture of the Commercial Airplanes Wichita Division from Boeing. Before working for Spirit, Lickteig was employed by the Boeing Company for 18 years. During his tenure with Boeing, he held management positions in Fabrication and Propulsions.
