Mainblades - Aircraft Drone Inspections Mainblades is a Dutch robotics company located in The Hague. Mainblades develops navigation and computer vision technologies for automated visual inspections of aircraft with drones. The company supports airlines and MROs with aircraft maintenance procedures such as damage detection, visual assessment and data reporting. Use cases include GVIs, lightning strikes, dent/buckle and paint inspections. The high mobility and flexible deployment of the drone reduces resources required for manual inspections. In 2021 the company has performed the first outdoor drone flight at an active airfield in Europe.
