Evitado Technologies -Hamburg-based Robotics company Evitado Technologies has developed a collision-avoidance system for aircraft maneuvering while on the ground. As air traffic increases, so does the number of ground collisions. Likewise, Evitado is gaining recognition for its safety-relevant solution to one of aviation's long-lasting and costly problems: lack of ground automation causing costly accidents and inefficiencies. Currently, layers of redundancy on every operation are needed to assure safety. The underlying technology includes proprietary ground-truth sensors that help operators understand, track, and avoid a physical collision.
