Profile

Alex Trapp serves as Senior Vice President, Business Development for StandardAero. Trapp is responsible for leading business strategies, pursuit of new platforms/customers, joint ventures and mergers and acquisitions, reporting to the CEO. Prior to joining StandardAero in 2016, Trapp served as Vice President of the Commercial function for Rolls-Royce North America Inc. In addition, Trapp has extensive airline expertise having served in strategic planning, corporate development and finance leadership roles for ExpressJet Airlines, Inc. and Continental Airlines, Inc. He holds an MBA from Washington University, Olin School of Business and a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration from Trinity University.
