Tommy Johnston is Managing Director of Supply Chain Management for FedEx Express. Supply Chain Management is responsible for the worldwide inventory optimization and procurement of aircraft related parts, associated repair vendor oversight and management, and on-site materiel management at heavy check locations.

Since joining FedEx in 1994 as a package handler in the Memphis hub, Tommy has held a variety of positions with increasing responsibilities. Upon receiving his degree, he joined the Aircraft Materiel organization responsible for procurement and optimization of off-wing aircraft parts. Tommy transitioned into an information technology support role in 2007 where he supported multiple business partners to implement technology solutions and subsequently joined the leadership team. In 2014, he returned to Aircraft Materiel as a Manager of Planning and Order Management which led into the Director of Supply Chain Management.

Tommy received a Bachelor of Business Administration degree in Management Information Systems from the University of Memphis and a Masters of Business Administration in Aviation from Embry Riddle Aeronautical University.
