Profile

Jim Tisdale has over 35 years of aviation industry experience. He is currently the Managing Director of Airframe Vendor Management for FedEx Express. He has been a FedEx Express team member since 1995 and started his aviation career with GE Aircraft Engines. During Jim’s 27 years with FedEx Express, he has been involved with a number of projects: GE and Pratt Whitney engine technical program oversite, 767 & 777 Acquisition Programs, Passenger-to-Freighter Programs that included 727, MD11, Airbus, and 757. In addition, Jim is currently responsible for the Airframe Heavy Maintenance performed at multiple MROs around the world.
