Noel Casino is the VP for Corporate Quality and Organizational Development at ST Engineering’s facilities in San Antonio.
Noel started his career as an apprentice under an airline’s Aircraft Maintenance Training Program and separately worked as an adjunct instructor for a technical school at the age of 19. After completing years of working as a mechanic in a heavy maintenance environment, he became a Quality Engineer and later as a Quality Manager for ST Aviation Services Co. (SASCO) in Singapore. After 12 years, he was then re-assigned to Panama operations as Director of Quality. In 2011, he took on a new role at VT SAA (San Antonio, Texas) facility and held multiple positions such as QA Manager, Director of Quality, Director of Maintenance and VP for Quality and Organizational Excellence. He also took the lead in setting up the workforce development team, developed the aircraft maintenance and quality control inspector’s training program and technical leadership courses at VT SAA.
He holds an FAA Airframe and Powerplant Certificate, a BSc. in Business Administration degree and had completed Mastering Design Thinking Course from MIT.
