Fred Sontag is the Vice President of Distribution Solutions and Vice President of Sales, Americas, both within the GA Telesis Flight Services Group. Sontag manages all airframe and engine parts sales operations for the Americas and is responsible for key customer commercial aerospace accounts. He also has overall responsibility for the GA Telesis distribution business.
Sontag brings over 25 years of aerospace experience with extensive knowledge of the OEM and aftermarket services market segments. Prior to joining GA Telesis, he was with Wesco Aircraft (now Incora) for three years, where he was the General Manager of Distribution. Sontag previously worked for AAR Corp. and Unison Industries (a wholly owned subsidiary of General Electric) in positions of increasing responsibility focused on the aerospace aftermarket supply chain.
Sontag attended the University of North Dakota, where he majored in Aviation Sciences and earned several FAA pilot licenses, including commercial, multi-engine, and land with an instrument rating.
