Daniel was appointed as Head of the new “Airbus Airframe Services” business unit on the 1st of April 2021. In his role, he is accountable to further develop innovative services for aircraft modifications and maintenance, under the leadership of the Airbus Head of Customer Services.
Daniel started his career at Airbus in Hamburg, Germany in 2003 as an Industrial Engineer and had various leadership positions in the A380 Final Assembly.
In 2010 Daniel Wenninger moved to Toulouse as a Technical Assistant reporting directly to the EVP Head of A350 XWB program. In this role he implemented the Airbus international and cross functional governance system. He then spent 5 years in the United States as Senior Director of Product Management and later on as Vice President, New Programme Introduction, supporting the successful ramp-up of the A350 XWB programme. Moving back to Toulouse in 2017 as Vice President of Aircraft Upgrade Services, he contributed to the double digit growth of the business unit.
Daniel Wenninger holds a Masters in Engineering and Economics from the Hamburg University of Technologies.
Daniel was born in 1974 in Asuncion, Paraguay. He is married with two children. In his free time, he is an automobile enthusiast.
