Laser & Plasma Technologies is a high-tech research and development small business focused on providing innovative solutions in the areas of laser application and optical devices. The company’s leading product, S-2, is a unique infrared based NDT imaging tool to “see through” diverse coating systems such as common military and commercial paints. Engineered for NAVAIR airframe inspection, the S2 is a lightweight, hand-held, battery powered device producing high resolution images of the airframe. To date, Laser & Plasma Technologies has received nine SBIR awards and has a strong diversity of university, governmental and commercial partners.
