Vincenzo Quaranta is responsible for defining all commercial strategies and ensuring all revenue targets of Alitalia Engineering & Maintenance are met, while ensuring the highest level of customer satisfaction.
Before taking this position, Vincenzo was leading for 5 years the Technical Contracts Management Department at Alitalia Engineering & Maintenance Division, managing strategic, operational and project activities aimed to optimize performance, reduce operating costs and increase profitability on all the Aircraft, Engines, Landing Gears and APU maintenance and lease programs, with the purpose of achieving innovation and continuous improvement. Previously, he spent 8 years in Powerplant Engineering as Head of Narrow Body Engines Technical Department, taking care of health monitoring, reliability analysis and troubleshooting of installed engines, as well as Work Scope definition and Shop Visit surveys for the removed engines.
He had also achieved a significant and consolidated experience in Aircraft Engines MRO Shops, having worked for about 7 years in Avio Aero, a GE Aviation Business, where he held various position of increasing responsibilities, from Shop Engineering to Customer Support for important Customers.
Vincenzo holds a Master’s Degree cum laude in Mechanical Engineering and a Six Sigma Green Belt Certification.
