Chuck Jackson is the Executive Director of Services for GE Aviation’s Regional Engines and Services (RES) Division. In this role, Chuck is responsible for leading the RES services portfolio, including managing all commercial, operational, and support aspects of the CF34 and CT7 commercial engine products.
Chuck began his career with GE in 1996 and held key roles in Aviation’s Engineering and Commercial Engines Operation organizations including Customer Support, Product Support, Black Belt positions and various engineering roles. In 2006, Chuck became Director of CFM56 Commercial Operations, and in 2009, as Executive Director of CF6 Strategy and Product Management, Chuck drove new business growth, profitability and product strategy for engine sales, services, and Mature Fleet initiatives.
In 2013, Chuck led the GE9X program from its inception, as Executive Director of Programs, during which time critical technologies were matured, program plans were aligned, and the development and certification programs were executed. He relocated to Seattle to work directly with the Boeing 777X senior leadership and drove critical Boeing and airline engagement during the key early stages of the program.
In 2018, he moved into his current role in Regional Engines and Services. Additionally, he directs several JV & Partner activities and is a member of the FADEC Alliance JV Board of Directors.
Chuck holds a bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Florida, a master's degree in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Cincinnati, and an MBA from Duke University.
