Justin Brownlee is Vice President of Base and Propulsion Maintenance for Memphis based FedEx Express. His responsibilities include airframe Heavy Maintenance, Global Maintenance Operations Control, and Maintenance Planning & Analysis.
Justin has held a variety of positions at FedEx Express within AirOps. He began his career in 1999 as engineer. In 2004 he was promoted to Manager of Base Maintenance Business Planning and in 2008 he was promoted to Managing Director of Propulsion Maintenance. In this capacity, Justin was responsible for comprehensive management of over 1,400 engines and APUs for the entire FedEx Express jet aircraft fleet. He served as the leader of strategy development and planning and analysis for engine maintenance programs, supplier sourcing and contract negotiation, aircraft/engine fleet selection decisions, and spare engine management.
Justin serves as a member of board of directors of Orbis International, an international non-governmental organization dedicated to saving sight worldwide through the use of a MD10 Flying Eye Hospital and its Cybersight telemedicine platform.
