The Colorado Springs Airport (COS) is a city-owned, public, civil-military airport located six miles southeast of the city center of Colorado Springs. Peterson Air Force Base is the largest tenant, co-located on the north end of the airfield. The 3-runway airport is the second largest in the state with over 135,000 aircraft operations and 1.6 million passengers annually. Four passenger and two cargo airlines serve the airport – American, Delta, Frontier, United, FedEx Express and Key Lime Air (UPS) with scheduled commercial air service to 13 nonstop destinations, 6 of which are international airline hubs, making worldwide destinations easily accessible from COS.
