Jim Mach has served as Director of Maintenance at Frontier Airlines since April 2015. In this role, he is responsible for Line Maintenance, Heavy Maintenance, New Aircraft Inductions, Lease Returns and GSE in Denver. He also represents Frontier as the Part 119 authority as Director of Maintenance.
Jim started his career in aviation as a maintenance technician with Eastern Airlines. He transitioned to Northwest Airlines as a technician, Hangar Manager and ultimately responsible for all Heavy Maintenance as the Director of Maintenance in MSP. Over the course of his 30+ years in the industry, he has also served in roles as General Manager Supplier Operations for Delta Airlines, Director of Contracts for PEMCO and Director of Heavy Maintenance and Induction for Allegiant Airlines.
Jim attended the University of Minnesota Business degree program. He holds an A&P and FCC license.
