Profile:Jono Anderson is a Partner at KPMG focused on Growth and Innovation Strategy and has 20+ years of experience helping Aerospace, Defense and Automotive companies and is a former mathematician focusing on autonomous systems and the associated navigation, guidance, sensor, cyber and high-performance computing technologies. Jono focuses on how companies can grow / innovate using disruptive technologies by understanding technology maturity, market dynamics, and ecosystem acceptance in order to make the appropriate R&D investments or change underlying business capability. We call this the “Clockspeed Dilemma” – how companies from different industries work together to advance the state of the art in autonomy, mobility, artificial intelligence / deep learning, electrification, and connectivity. Prior to joining KPMG, Jono was a Partner at another Big-4 and Booz & Company (formerly Booz Allen Hamilton) and before that was a researcher at BAE Systems. Before starting his career, Jono was a researcher at UCSD Scripps Institution of Oceanography helping to develop tectonic maps of the ocean sea floor using space-based radar altimetry.
