Hamish Guthrie is the General Manager of the Pratt & Whitney Columbus Engine Center in Columbus, GA- the primary Pratt & Whitney MRO facility for the Geared Turbo Fan (GTF) engine. With close to 700 employees, all in-service variants of the GTF are overhauled by the Columbus Engine Center with support also provided to new variants entering in to service. The Columbus Engine Center also plays a unique role within the MRO network working with the GTF partners to improve and optimize the MRO process.
Prior to joining Pratt and Whitney, Hamish spent 17 years with Rolls-Royce and has worked across multiple business sectors including commercial, sales, customer business and operations.
Hamish earned a First Class BEng degree in ElectroMechanical Engineering from Aston University in Birmingham, England.
